79. The Lion Inside the Gate

When David asked to go up against Goliath, this is what he told Saul: "God has already delivered me from the lion and the bear..." Two formidable enemies that attack in two very different ways. Later in his life, it's the lion David comes up against again and again from inside his own house. It's the lion that wrecks him. I've been keenly aware of the threat of the lion in this season, and the intimate way it hunts for the kill. But I'm also very familiar with the one Bright Lion that will deal with all the dark ones.
