Has Ghost Hunting Changed What I Believe?: A Personal Reflection
transcript
show notes
A stripped back audio episode while I travel in the USA.
After years of investigating supposedly haunted locations, running ghost hunts and exploring stories of the unexplained, has ghost hunting actually changed what I believe?
In this shorter and more personal episode of Beyond Haunted UK, I step away from the history books for a moment and reflect on my own relationship with the paranormal.
I grew up believing there was more to our world than we understand. But strangely, years spent investigating the paranormal haven't made me believe everything I encounter.
They've made me question more.
From an experience I had as a child that has stayed with me for almost 35 years, to the increasingly commercial world of paranormal tourism and online ghost hunting, I explore why I now believe genuinely unexplained experiences may be far rarer and perhaps far more valuable than we sometimes think.
Has ghost hunting made me more of a believer?
Or has it made me a sceptic?
Perhaps the answer lies somewhere between the two.
