We’re processing the departures of fan favourites Kevin Gausman and Daulton Varsho, welcoming Josh Smith, Brett Bateman and José Soriano, and asking the question every Jays fan is secretly wrestling with: Do we love the team… or the players? Plus, we get into the ever-changing world of WAG friendships, dissect Gausman’s comments about the difference between Toronto and Chicago, and introduce a surprising new Jays crush in Spencer Miles in our Hot or Just Talented? segment. Lia also takes on RISP (Runners in Scoring Position) like we’re at brunch because apparently that’s one of the biggest reasons the Jays have struggled this season. And because no episode of Baseless is complete without chaos, we rapid-fire our way through everything from which Blue Jay we’d want by our side during the apocalypse (and create a new saying while we’re at it) to what we’d frivolously spend $5,000 on.
