July 12, 2026; 3pm: Flags are at half-staff in tribute to Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who died at the age of 71. Graham’s office said he died after a “brief and sudden illness.” MS NOW has learned emergency personnel responded to a call for cardiac arrest at Graham’s home near Capitol Hill. He had just returned from a trip to Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Tributes are pouring in from around the world. Meanwhile, renewed escalations and tit-for-tat strikes in Iran following attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
