Tragedy in Jeddah: The Fall of Nation Air 2120

This episode examines the tragic crash of Nigeria Airways Flight 2120 in 1991, a DC-8 charter that was destroyed by an uncontrollable in-flight fire shortly after takeoff from Jeddah. What began as a routine departure quickly escalated into a fatal emergency when an issue with underinflated tires during taxiing led to extreme overheating. After takeoff, the overheated tires ignited, and once the landing gear was retracted, the fire spread into the wheel well.
