Sudden summer weather on the way for Midwest, East next week; plus the first fatal bear attack since 1998 reported in Glacier National Park

A surge of warmth and humidity will push temperatures into the 80s and near 90° across parts of the Midwest and East next week, bringing mid-summer like conditions after a cool start to May.

Also, it was the second bear attack in a national park in less than a week and forced closures of nearby trails and campgrounds.
