Ana Maria Maia nasceu em Recife, Pernambuco, Brasil, em 1984. É pesquisadora, curadora e professora de arte contemporânea. Tem doutorado em Artes pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP). É organizadora do livro "Flávio de Carvalho" (2014) e autora de "Arte-veículo: intervenções na mídia de massa brasileira" (2015), resultado da Bolsa Funarte de Estímulo à Produção Artística. Desde 2019, atua como curadora da Pinacoteca de São Paulo. [Ana Maria Maia was born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, in 1984. She is a researcher, curator and professor of contemporary art. She holds a PhD in Arts from the University of São Paulo. She organized the book "Flávio de Carvalho" (2014) and is the author of "Arte-veículo: intervenções na mídia de massa brasileira" (2015), result of the Funarte Grant to the Artistic Production.
